Balaji Vajjala

Balaji has been developing software in the financial and Telecom industry since 1998. Passionate about technology, Balaji has delivered a diverse project portfolio initially as a software developer and subsequently as a leader of development organisations.

Balaji prides himself on staying current with the technology thought leaders of the day. This includes a huge interest in the changing ways in which software projects are being delivered. This has led Balaji to discover, learn and apply the practices and principles fundamental to Agile software development particularly those of Scrum and Lean.

More recently Balaji spends his time identifying how best to leverage the emergence of Cloud (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS) to create more Agile businesses. This has extended to investigate how best to employ NoSQL and Big Data to meet increasingly demanding data requirements.

Balaji can be considered as Development Architecture (Dev Ops) specialist with experiences spanning Development, Configuration Management, Infrastructure as code, Continuous Delivery, Environment Management, Build, Deployment and Testing automation and tooling, AWS Solution Architect, CMMI practitioner, Agile Scrum Master and ITIL SME.

Over 15+ years experience latterly leading both support and capability development teams consisting of on and off-shore resources and always Interested in continuous delivery, test driven development and agile, Enterprise DevOps evangelist.
